Click Call Connect - How to Contact the Police

For non-emergency incidents or crime prevention advice, click www.sussex.police.uk, (If you report a crime online, the Police will assess it in the same way as a 101 call).

Call 101 when you don’t require an urgent response. In an emergency when life is threatened or there is immediate danger always call 999.

Connect face-to-face at a police station or contact the local policing team at www.sussex.police.uk/area/your-area.

If you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired, you can contact the Police using TypeTalk on 18000 or by sending a text to 65999.

Our polls are basic, anonymous, and the tip of the iceberg but gives us lots of insight into what questions we should be asking next, and what actions we can take to change things for the better for all of us. If you have a burning issue regarding crime prevention, speeding and ASB, or any other neighbourhood matter that falls within the remit of crime prevention and a happy safe town, you can write to your Neighbourhood Watch Committee Chairman, Mark Brown at chairman@sandbnhw.co.uk

To vote on the polls, just click the answer that best matches how you feel. All answers are anonymous and you can view results by returning to this blog at any time.

We will use the answers to ask more questions, shape our activities and actions, and engage where relevant. We always welcome input and we always welcome volunteers - if you have a specific project in mind, or have ideas on how, as great neighbours, we can make our town safer and happier, please get in touch.
